The Jerusalem Initiative is a hot-button issue that is as important as it is difficult to talk about. We are dedicated to bringing the issue of Jerusalem into the forefront of civic and religious dialogue in the United States and abroad. We have been discussing the religious significance of Jerusalem to Christianity, Islam and Judiasm and the parallel importance of Jerusalem as the political, social and intellectual capital of both Israel and the Palestinian state.
